Zardari to Restore Chief Justice?
This could be Just Another Attempt to Postpone the Long March!
There’s been a buzz about an unofficial and unconfirmed news that Zardari is ready to
Restore Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudry through an executive order. Even if this comes out as an official statement from Presidency, it could be just another attempt to postpone the Long March and the Lawyers Movement.
I don’t suppose anyone is going to trust this statement unless Zardari restores the CJ before the Long March begins. Because everyone had witnessed that Zardari hasn’t been fulfilling the promises he made in past, not even the oaths he took over the Holy Qur’an!
One thing seems certain that if Lawyers go ahead with the Long March, it will definitely be decisive this time.

oh come on.. mush wants his judges.. nawaz wants his judges.. all Zardari’s been saying is that these remaining 6 judges should broaden their vision.. let these judges retire as most of them are going to in a couple of months and work on strengthening the institutions.. what is the see-saw supposed to achieve? it’s either this or sitting down across the table to come to a compromise.. and if not then keep uprooting whatever little we have of this country.. throw everything in a tailspin as they keep threatening to “decide it all on the streets”… today they are all satisfied with the judges.. if tomorrow i’m not satisfied with an outcome of my case do i get to overthrow the bench? that’s where it’ll take us.. utter anarchy!
