Yet Another Cowardly Attack by the US

The US attacks in the Pakistani boundaries are not new to anyone. Yesterday, the Angooradda attack claimed the lives of atleast 20 innocent Pakistanis. People ranging from government officials to citizens strongly condemned and protested against the attacks.

But thats not all, just today, another US attack claimed five lives. The victims were innocent citizens, they neither were terrorists nor the supporter of terrorists, still they had to lose their lives in the name of so called War Against Terror

The govt. officials referred it as a shameful and strange act. Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi condemned this incident in strong words stating that they reserve the right to attack in response. Jamat Islami leader Qazi Hussain Ahmed also condemned it with strong words saying that govt. should not only reserve the right to attack in response, but they should do it as it is necessary now. PTI leader Imran Khan blamed the govt. saying that US forces attacked with the consent of the govt. officials who are carrying forward Musharraf’s policies.

Govt. officials further stated that these acts by the US are to create an obstacle in the way of democratic Presidential Elections.

But whatever the attacks were for, they are shameful and cowardly acts by the US and are against Pakistan’s sovereignty and dignity. Therefor I being Pakistani blogger, strongly condemn these acts. I request the bloggers and webmasters to support the protest by adding the following badge at your websites or blogs.

[...] Farhan Janjua has left the comment here where he’s suggesting to raise voice against continous US attacks on Pakistan for past few days. Surprisingly we are taking it less serious than any other protests like Go Musharraf Go , rally in favor of CJ Iftikhar etc. Maybe we have not taken it seriously because they have not stepped into cities like Islamabad,Karachi and Lahore where most of so called intellectuals reside? I am joining the protest started by Farhan on his blog. [...]

A most important initiative, yet I feel it must be coupled with another badge imploring the Pakistan Givernment to strike back in retaliation into Afghanistan. More importantly, any future attacks into Pakistan and hence on the sovereignty of Pakistani nation must be met with the strongest force of Pakistan military.

In addition to this, Pakistan must come out and categorically state that any more incursions into Pakistan will amount to an act of war, and Pakistan will reserve the right to retaliate on American/NATO interests worldwide. At the same time, Pakistan must cut off the supply lines to Afghanistan with immediate effect.

These incursions are part of testing the waters, and if we do not defend the borders, very soon we will have them knocking at the doors of Islamabad.

There must be a badge saying We are FOR retaliating.

Pakistan’s current response stating we reserve the right for whatever it is they are reserving the rights for amounts to little else than the comical line in the punjabi joke where A keeps slapping B and B keeps saying threatening to retaliate. “Hun maar ke Vikha”.

B must slap back - twice!

Stop helping the terrorists and things will go back to being great… but thats not what you want to do is it? you want to secretly help them because of your hidden anger at the US and everything about it, unless the US converts to Islam (which will happen when hell freezes over) you will always in the back of your minds wish for more terror attacks wont you?
But the US should just sit back and try to twiddle their thumbs right?

Shout all you want, as long as you support terrorism, the US will walk in and do what it must.

Oh, BTW, abuse the US all you want, because I am not even from there… but then again, you dotn have to be from there to see this.

Cheers from Europe!

@Badi

Hey Badi! Thanks for taking interest and visiting a Pakistani blog :) . Now! This is not necessary that what you think is always right. Pakistan has been supporting US for this so called war against terror. Even 9/11 was the America’s war but we support it so much that now it has become Pakistan’s War.

And you know nothing about Islam. You see a few terrorist pretending to be Muslim, and you get the idea Oh! This is Islam. But if you really want to know the Islam, go study english translation of The Holy Qur’an :)

@Admin, no problem, Indian, Pakistani, US blogs etc all the same, i read and comment everywhere without prejudice.

“Even 9/11 was the America’s war but we support it so much”
And the money from the US had nothing to do with that?

“that now it has become Pakistan’s War”
It was always Pakistan’s war because of your neighbor and your countries support for the Taliban.

“And you know nothing about Islam.”
Dont assume too much, I have Muslim friends… I am not one of those ignorant people who think all Muslims are terrorists or all people from Israel are saints.
A bit of advise, keep repeating this a few hundred times: “I will not assume, assumption is the mother of all fuck ups”

“go study english translation of The Holy Qur’an”
Dont need to, like I said, have Muslim pals and they have read a bit out to me and translated, on the other hand why dont you take some time off and read the Bible, the Gitas, about Buddhism etc? Muslims are very quick to say read the Quran but ask them to read another ‘holy book’ and…we quickly become the ’shaitan’ right?

@Badi

“And the money from the US had nothing to do with that?”
Brother! if Musharraf spent all that aid in helping his ally party to win the elections, what was the fault of general Pakistanis. They are innocent. These were our cruel rulers who filled their personal accounts with that US aid.

“It was always Pakistan’s war because of your neighbor and your countries support for the Taliban.”
You have again made a mistake. If we were supporting Taliban, they wouldn’t have attacked Pakistan with suicide blasts. Even the local people of Pakistan’s tribal areas are against Talibans.

And I assumed your Islamic knowledge because u said in ur first comment that Muslims are trying to convert entire US to Islam. so that was a misconception :) So I am sorry for the wrong assumption.

And you won’t believe, but I do have the English and Urdu translation of “Holy Bible” and “The Vedas” :)

As Allah commands Muslims to understand and invite non Muslims to live with peace.

Pakistan is burning, because of mistreatment of ahmadies by the pakistani nation. Ahmadies were the target of iliterate MULLAHS who had hijacked the Islam and are reason of Pakistani demise.

How or why would Pakistan even dare to retaliate when those who should protect us are increasingly been considered as professional assassins, and hired mercenaries?
The attacks are anything but cowardly.

maybe if the pakistani public hadn’t so blatantly agreed to train, support, breed, and fund the talibaan in the 80’s we wouldn’t have to see this shit happening today. But what the fuck? we’re making the same fucking mistake now. We’re quick to protest U.S attacks, its easy for us as they are drastically different then us(according to the dumb public of our country) but the real cause of this shit? what we do is sit down and try to justify the suicide attacks, rather than protesting against them. Just tell me, what if EVERY citizen in the tribal areas protests againt the taliban, OPENLY, along with the pak army’s surges, isn’t that going to be enough to drive those motherfuckers out of our country???

The reality is that most of our western Pakstanis love Taliban not because Taliban kill Muslims but because they resists American occupation of Afghanistan. Since Baitullah Mehsood emerged on the stage the support for Taliban has decreased and perhaps that was the purose of creation of Baitullah’s Taliban and the cause was all about to decrease the support. The policy succeeded but the problem increased because the controle of the Taliban is now in the hands of Pakistan’s enemies.
